Community Rules

ExcelStocks is a place to discuss markets and investing. Participate in good faith, respect other users, and do not treat community content as verified financial advice.

Content or accounts may be hidden, removed, warned, restricted, or permanently blocked when these rules are violated.

1. Be respectful

Do not attack, threaten, harass, or target other people.

  • No hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or violent content.
  • No doxxing, unwanted personal information, or encouragement of harassment.
  • No impersonation of users, public figures, companies, regulators, or ExcelStocks staff.

2. Keep information honest

Do not knowingly deceive other investors or present rumors as verified facts.

  • Clearly distinguish opinions, estimates, and unverified claims from facts.
  • Do not fabricate news, performance records, positions, or sources.
  • Respect copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual-property rights.

3. No market manipulation or illegal activity

The community must not be used to coordinate unlawful or deceptive conduct.

  • No pump-and-dump coordination, wash trading, spoofing, or deceptive price manipulation.
  • No solicitation or sharing of material nonpublic information.
  • No promotion of scams, unlicensed investment schemes, illegal products, hacking, credential theft, or other criminal activity.

4. No spam or abusive promotion

Keep posts relevant and avoid repetitive or unsolicited promotion.

  • Do not flood posts, comments, feedback, or chat with repeated content.
  • Do not recruit users into paid signal groups, private messaging groups, or deceptive promotions.
  • Do not publish contact information or links primarily to evade moderation.

5. Privacy and safety

Do not request or publish passwords, seed phrases, private keys, government identifiers, financial-account details, private contact information, or another person's confidential information.

6. Reports and automated controls

Users may report posts, comments, chat messages, or accounts. High-confidence automated rules also cover coordinated manipulation, investment scams, credential theft, spam, and direct violent threats. Educational or warning language should not be treated as a violation solely because it names prohibited conduct.

Reports are reviewed using automated signals and human review. A report does not guarantee removal, and abusive reporting may itself lead to restrictions.

7. Restrictions and appeals

Enforcement may include content removal, temporary write restrictions, feature restrictions, or permanent loss of access, depending on severity and history. Serious safety, fraud, manipulation, or security violations may result in immediate action. Appeals can be submitted through the Feedback Box without posting personal information.

8. Investment disclaimer

Community content is written by users and is not verified or endorsed by ExcelStocks. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. Perform your own research and make your own investment decisions.
